Forensic Evaluation - New Client Information

Welcome to Solara Psychological Services - Forensic Psychology

 We provide comprehensive forensic psychological evaluations tailored to the specific needs of courts, attorneys, and individuals involved in legal matters. Whether you're navigating a custody case, facing criminal charges, or need an assessment of decision-making capacity, our role is to offer objective, evidence-based insight grounded in clinical expertise.

What to Expect

 

Our forensic evaluations typically include:

  2. Clinical Interview – A structured assessment to understand the person’s psychological functioning.
     
  3. Standardized Testing – Measures may include cognitive, personality, or risk-related tools depending on referral needs.
     
  4. Collateral Interviews – As appropriate, we may speak with family, legal parties, or professionals involved.
     
  5. Written Report – A comprehensive, court-ready report outlining findings and opinions.
     
  6. Expert Testimony – Available when needed to present or defend our findings in court.

  • We are neutral evaluators, not advocates for either party. Our duty is to the court and the truth of the psychological findings.
     
  • You may self-refer or be referred by an attorney or court order.
     
  • All evaluations are conducted in a confidential, respectful, and professional environment.
